Big Green Hikers Step Out and Fundraise for SAS
At the start April SAS supporters headed out on The Big Green Hike and raised over £2000
Our supporters and our community are our beating heart. Without them our campaigns would have no voice and it is our community members who are at the centre of our incredible fundraising efforts. From beach cleans to cake sales, marathon paddle boarding journeys to hikes, you can fundraise for us any way you like.

St Agnes Head to Portreath – Julie Sexton
On Sunday 7th April I set off from St Agnes Head to walk to Portreath along the coast path. It was a bit windy ( to say the least!) as Storm Kathleen was making herself known. The rain promised on the weather forecast failed to materialise, and so it turned out to be a fabulous afternoon. The walk was superb; I enjoyed every moment past Wheal Coates, Chapel Porth , Porthtowan ( great coffee !!) the clamber down and away from Sally’s Bottom and finally on to Portreath. My husband, son and daughter in law walked to meet me at the end which was really appreciated. A great day for a great cause!!!
Dover to Deal – Kody Fulford
I am just honoured to be a part of it and raising funds and awareness I walked 18k from Dover to Deal along the white cliffs a coastal walk felt very fitting.
10km walk – Lee Attrill
We all love the ocean so we walked 10 miles to raise money for Surfers Against Sewage.
Pen Y Fan – Gemma Halliday
A very wet and windy climb up Pen Y Fan with my crew … all for a very good cause.
