Outside Events are a fantastic way to spread the word about SAS, raise vital funds and have fun at the same time. We're always here to support you and ensure your event is a success, however with volunteers like you offering to do the legwork on these events it saves one of our most valuable resources - staff time! Cornwall College Surf Science Jamboree 2008. The students on the Surf Science course at Cornwall College have organised a Surf Jamboree at Lusty Glaze, Cornwall, celebrating 50 years of surfing in Great Britain. Incorporated within in the event will be the Cornwall College annual surf contest including, open, women's, longboarding, bodyboarding and masters heats. There will also be children's entertainment, a BBQ and bar, as well as an after party with great
drink promotions. Entry forms for the competition can be found at www.cornwallstudents.org/ssj08 and registration is at 8.30am on Lusty Glaze Beach. All profit's will go to Surfers Against Sewage and Cornwall Hospice. |

Ben Boisseau from Cornwall is embarking on a mammoth cycle ride from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise money for SAS!
