We're always here to support you and ensure your event is a success, however with volunteers like you offering to do the legwork on these events it saves one of our most valuable resources - staff time! Supporters Fundraising for 2008

10 May	Cornwall College Surf Science Jamboree 2008. The students on the Surf Science course at Cornwall College have organised a Surf Jamboree at Lusty Glaze, Cornwall, celebrating 50 years of surfing in Great Britain.  Incorporated within in the event will be the Cornwall College annual surf contest including, open, women's, longboarding, bodyboarding and masters heats. There will also be children's entertainment, a BBQ and bar, as well as an after party with great drink promotions. Entry forms for the competition can be found at www.cornwallstudents.org/ssj08 and registration is at 8.30am on Lusty Glaze Beach.  All profit's will go to Surfers Against Sewage and Cornwall Hospice.
1 May	Head along to the Acoustic Cafe event, live at Tavistock Wharf, Tavistock on Thursday 1st May from 7pm, for great music from The Madding Crowd, Offshore Drift, Rory Gilmour and many more! Tickets are £5 on the door or by calling 01822 611166 and monies raised will be donated to SAS, RNLI and Tavistock Trust for Aphasia. www.tavistockwharf.com www.acousticcafe.org.uk
17 Mar	Ben Boisseau from Cornwall is embarking on a mammoth cycle ride from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise money for SAS!  Inspired by his recent adventure - cycling from Greece to Cornwall, Ben is really looking forward to checking out the beautiful scenery that the UK has to offer."I wanted to raise money for SAS because I'm a Cornish surfer and pretty much everything I love about life comes from our coast and you guys are looking to make it better".
16 Mar	SAS member Alix Mourant will be taking part in the Bath half marathon  to raise  money for SAS.
17 Feb	SAS supporter Matt Newman will be joining 25,000 others running the Tokyo Marathon and will be using the marathon as an opportunity to raise money for SAS!
