We're always here to support you and ensure your event is a success, however with volunteers like you offering to do the legwork on these events it saves one of our most valuable resources - staff time! Coastal Creatives Christmas Fair raising money for SAS.
The Coastal Creatives Christman Fair will take place at the stunning
Study Gallery of Modern Art in Poole, Dorset from 30th Nov - 2nd Dec,
showcasing the work of over 60 emerging local artists and designers and
established nationally acclaimed makers from the south coast.
There will be a special launch party on Friday 30 November including a
raffle, live music, fine wines and festive canopes. Tickets for the
launch party are priced at £15, £5 of which will go to SAS; a weekend pass
is priced at £4 (under 16s go free). Money will be raised through
evening ticket sales, the raffle and through the fantastically innovative
'Pingo' art vending machine! |

Ermington Post Office and Stores are organising a raffle to
help raise money for Surfers Against Sewage, with some fantastic prizes up
for grabs; enter and you could win a canvas painting of a surfer on a wave,
a signed Torquay United footy shirt, a £10 starbucks vouchers, or many

Inter Island Walk
To take advantage of the exceptionally low spring tides in the Isles of Scilly, a fundraising walk has been organised from St Martin's to Tresco, encompassing Guthers Rock, Bryher, Samson and Tresco. The event is open to all everyone over the age of 14 - to request your registration form email Clare at scillyclare@hotmail.com. The event will be raising money for the RNLI, Air Ambulance, The Wildlife Trust and SAS. |

International artist Paddy Martin and top surf
photographer Stu Norton are both exhibiting their work at the Brownston
Gallery, Modbury, South Devon between 17th and 30th August and at the
Driftwood Gallery, Newquay between 14th and 28th September.
5% from all sales at the exhibitions will be going to SAS! Thanks

Plastic Plankton -
SAS supporter Lou McCurdy has been collecting plastic from Brighton
beach for a year and has transformed the pieces into installation art
for the first ever environmental exhibition at the Brighton Fringe Festival.
Lou and her art will be at the Brighton Fishing Museum from 9-22 May!

Le Chat Noir in Scarborough are hosting an afternoon of fundraising
and awareness raising in aid of SAS between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday 15th April. If you're in the area, get along their to take part in a raffle, a quiz and lots of games! There will also be a member of Scarborough's Green Party at the afternoon on hand to offer top tips on how to reduce and recycle waste.

They have shipped in 2 tonnes of sand and a whole load of other beach goodies to create a beach scene in a Southampton Club.
