Surfers Against Sewage / O'Neill Cornish and Open 2007
The SAS/O'Neill 2007 Cornish and Open Cancelled

The SAS/O'Neill Cornish and Open 2007 scheduled for completion this Saturday has been cancelled due to lack of surf forecasted. The contest was due to be completed this weekend having originally been postponed on the 19th August due to poor surf conditions.

The first 2 days of the event, run over the 17th -19th August, saw some fantastic surfing from the juniors and earlier rounds of the Open, Longboard, Bodyboard and Ladies divisions. To see the results of those divisions completed go to results. The prize money from the remaining divisions will be split equally amongst those still in the contest.

Andy Cummins, SAS Campaigns Officer says: "We're disappointed that we've been unable to complete the contest but ultimately it's the North Atlantic that has the final say! With no contestable surf forecast for this Saturday we have no choice but to call it a day for this year! Hopefully 2008 will bring us better waves and better weather".
