Thurso East Beach Clean

Thurso In Bloom, a charity organization in Thurso focused on improving the appearance of the town, is organizing a two-day beach clean of Thurso East Beach in preparation for the O'Neill surfing competition. The event is being supported by Dounreay and Vulcan employees, the local CoOperative store, Thurso Rotary, the Highland Council, and several local businesses. We are also listed on the Keep Scotland Beautiful litter pick website. We would like to invite local surfers out to participate.

Goal

Clean litter off Thurso East Beach as far to the east as possible.

Gloves, Trash Bags, Litter Pickers, Safety Vests, Drinks and Snacks will be provided.

Depending upon weather, waterproofs and appropriate footwear recommended.
